1995: Co-founder and Executive Producer of American Business Journal, an advertorial television business series produced in New York and underwritten by participating companies.
1999: Launches new streaming media division at Freedom Technology Media Group, producing live video webcasts and simulcasts of live events, creating a new, high-margin business during the genesis of streaming media.
2002: Launches Reed Business Interactive at Reed Elsevier and produces one of the first enterprise virtual trade shows as an extension of a trade publication. Over the next 5 years, ads webcast series, trade show video and video product showcases to the mix, building a multimillion dollar business.
2008: Joins The Nielsen Company as head of
streaming media for the Business Media division. Oversees a $3m+ business that produces over 150 webcasts, 200 event videos and 20 virtual expos & conferences.

Michael Kushner has held various sales and business development positions at companies such as Frost & Sullivan, Forbes, Inc., Freedom Technology Media Group, Reed Elsevier and The Nielsen Company. In these roles, Michael's responsibilities included but were not limited to the development and execution of profitable new business models in such areas as digital events that serve as brand extensions; securing sponsorships for web-based and face-to-face interactive forums; the creation of monthly live webcast series for multiple magazines; developing branded Virtual Conferences and Expos; capturing and repurposing content at physical conferences and trade shows; and working with editorial, sales, marketing and website staff to help pull it all together.
